Getting Healthy Before Pregnancy

You need to get a preconception checkup to make sure your body's  ready for pregnancy.At your checkup you should share your family health history with your provider. You should take folic acid about 3 months before you get pregnant because each day it will help prevent birth defects of the brain and spine. Get in a healthy weight range so you can get pregnant so to do that you can start eating healthy and doing something active everyday. Don't smoke because it makes it harder for you to get pregnant and i can be really harmful to the baby.Also you need to stay away from secondhand smoke. You can take a prescription drugs, but don't abuse them because they can treat health conditions.Don't take the prescription drug with other drugs, alcohol, and don't take another persons prescription medicine. I recently took a quiz by Howard Gardner about my multiple intelligences and these are my results.
